About Travel Vouchers

What is a Travel Voucher?A Travel Voucher is simply a travel document/ ticket, containing your unique Booking Reference, confirming and providing details of your booking. What is an Open Travel Voucher? An Open Travel Voucher is an open ticket, i.e. without a fixed date of travel/ activity, and it is valid for 6 months from the date of purchase. You contact the Provider direct to confirm availablilty and finalise travel dates.

This is the ideal solution for people who have loose travel plans and want to make last minute decisions.
What is a Fixed Date Travel Voucher? This Travel Voucher has a confirmed fixed date of travel/ activity. Even though the booking is confirmed, we always recommend that you call the operator to reconfirm the booking 2 days in advance (as per Travel Industry standard requirement). I have a Fixed Date Travel Voucher, do I need to reconfirm?Yes. We recommended that you call at least 48 hours in advance to confirm your trip. This is also to confirm pick up places, dietary requirements or other relevant information. How do I obtain my Travel Voucher? You select your product, choose your travel preferences by filling in the online booking form, confirm availability & price then check out to pay and obtain your ticket online for you to print - you will also receive your ticket via email.

Plus, you will be provided with automatic Password & User ID to recall your itinerary information online, any time you want.
I have an Open Travel Voucher and I want to book a fixed date for my activity, How do I do that? You can contact the operator direct (contact details are provided in your Travel Voucher) . Can I buy gift travel vouchers for other people? You can purchase travel services as gifts for other people. The Travel Voucher will display the name of the passenger.

Your Questions

What does Grouped or Individual mean when ticketing?Grouped means that only one ticket is issued and this ticket will display the list of all passengers - this is the best option to avoid printing and carrying large number of tickets/ paperwork. Individual means that a separate ticket is issued for each passenger - this is especially important for groups who plan, at some stage, to split. I've split up with my friend(s) and we're all on the same ticket. Can we obtain new individual tickets?Yes. Call Travel Bugs to arrange this. A fee will be incurred. What are my User ID and Password?Your User ID and Password are automatically issued for you when you complete a booking and they are emailed to you for your record. You can then access your online account and change your User ID and Password to something you can easily remember.

If you need to check your itineraries or re-print your Travel Vouchers you will need them to log on into your Account. Also if you need to speak to an Travel Bugs consultant, you may be asked for them, for verification purposes.
Why am I required to enter a User ID and Password? This enables you to set up your personal confidential Account, where all information regarding your trips is stored and accessible, to you alone, at any time you wish. It means that at all times, if can add new tours to your itinerary without needing to enter your personal details, just add the new items to your cart. Also, should you loose your tickets, you can re-issue them simply by accessing your account. I can't print off my tickets?Your Travel Vouchers, booking details, itineraries and invoice are kept safely in your Travel Bugs Account, so if you don't have immediate access to a printer, you can access your online Account (through your User ID and Password) at a later date to print your travel documents. Furthermore, your ticket is also emailed to you. I've lost my tickets. How do I get a copy?Select MY DETAILS in the top right menu, enter your User ID and Password and print off a copy of any lost tickets. Alternatively, you can also call us to re-issue, at a cost of AU$10 per ticket. Do I need to confirm my trip?Yes. It is recommended that you call at least 48 hours in advance to confirm your trip. This is also to confirm pick up places, dietary requirements or other relevant information. I've missed my tour, what do I do?If you do miss your tour, first call the tour operator to make alternative arrangements, and then if needed, call Travel Bugs to sort out another option for you. I missed my tour, will I loose my money?Yes, most tour operators have strict terms and conditions regarding missed tours. In some cases something can be done, call Travel Bugs to find out more. I bought a Package, but I have only found out about better options regarding the items in the package, can I upgrade the relevant items?Yes you can. Simply call Travel Bugs to arrange this. What is the difference between a Passenger and a Customer?A Customer is the person billed, i.e. who pays for the products. A Passenger is the person traveling or benefiting from the services (activities, packages, etc.). Customers may purchase products on their behalf or for third parties. Hence, a Customer is also a Passenger when he/she is the person utilizing the services purchased. What does PAX mean?PAX simple means Passenger, i.e. the person whom the package, tour, flight, etc., has been purchased for. I've chosen my package, filled everything in, now it's asking me to fill in 'Booking Request'. Why?This means you have selected fixed dates of travel which needs to be confirmed with the travel service Provider first. Before we can issue you your tickets, we need to check availability on your chosen activity. You will receive confirmation within 24 hours. I want to make a complaint. How do I contact the right person? Please use our contact page for any issues relating to our website. Queries related to a specific actvity Provider should be made direct to the provider. Any contact will be dealt with in the strictest confidence.
